digital coloring tryouts

i just tried out different ways of coloring with the pc lately and came up with some drawings just for fun.

hello, do you work here?!

my stop-motion short-film is finished and ready for the vernissage on july 23rd. till then there is much to do for the presentation and other things so until I upload the whole work here´s another small piece i´ve done parallel. although it´s not so elaborate like the other work it´s still a great thing since it´s published in the book Helllo, do you work here?! by Alterna Comics. So you can buy it in American Comicbook-Stores and order it via Amazon!

on set

the diploma-project is finally taking form! after much planning, drawing storyboards and writing story and concept i finally built up a little set and did the first test-shoots. i decorated the set according to old vanitas-stilllives for there is much vanitas-symbolism going on and it´s visually attractive. here are some snapshots of the set and the first attempts of animating...

JnB - Logodesign

another job in between the stop motion thing and other projects was to design a logo for a team of some dedicated fellas who are planning to realize a new type of catering chain concentrated on fresh fruit-juices and -cocktails called "juice and booze" (short JnB). They have a really nice concept including a few stationary chain stores and mobile service for events etc.
They are currently in search for sponsors with a presentation including my logo and business papers which you can see above. I wish them all the best for their project!

oh and for the logo i chose the chamaeleon-mascot as a symbol for their alternation between alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. also the spiraled tail is a nice graphic ornament and reminds of the whole cocktail-mixing thing...i suppose :)
